This variation of Spit-in-the-Ocean is sometimes called Pig-in-the-Poke. Four cards are dealt face down to each player, and a fifth card is turned face up in the widow. All cards of the same rank as the exposed widow card are wild. There is a betting round, and then a fifth card is dealt face down to each active player. There is a final betting round, followed by a showdown for the high hand. The exposed card in the widow merely marks the rank of the wild cards. It is not counted as part of any playerΓÇÖs hand. This game is nothing more than Deuces Wild with only three wild cards and no draw, so look for two pairs to win most pots.
